The Wise Will Understand

“Happy is the nation whose God is the LORD…”-Psalm 33:12

This passage from the Bible could not have come across my desk at a better time. Remember when America trusted in the God of the Bible and not the god named Obama? Well I do. I also remember how we were in an economic high before America turned her back on God for a false prophet and false idol. God has blessed America when she has given god her focus and not gone on to believe the lies of those who want to rob us of OUR precious rights as Americans.
I remember my country before gay rights were even an issue. Now we have these sleaze bags in the state government who look to throw in such bills as the “Hate Crimes Law”. This bill mimics that of what is happening all over the world. People are being imprisoned because they do not believe in the gay agenda and are being persecuted for following the teachings of their religion. America is slowly turning into an enemy of the God that this country was founded on.
Another example of America not having the LORD is all of the violence going on in America. It seems that every time I turn on the news there is a shooting of either officers, innocent mother and father of 13 children or a child being raped and the man only getting 1 year in prison. How does this happen in a country that puts God and His laws before ones own evil deeds? We need to awake and take back he courts that were founded on the principles of the Holy Bible.
How are we to remain happy if a countries leader covers up Christian symbols when giving a speech at a church? This is preposterous to even think some of these things up! This same man nominated a woman for the supreme court that does not even answer when questioned on abortion. And all she said was she did not need to acknowledge the question because, “the president did not ask me”. So now the president is in control of the supreme court? The supreme court is there to make decisions based on the law and only the constitution. Not on what they feel in there heart is right. Because most politicians are following their hearts, we now see the mess they have made.
People wake up! God is clearly sending us a message that if we continue down the path we are on he will punish us like he did Israel. And Gods punishment is not to be taken lightly. Just read the book of Judges.
The only positive we can take from this is that God is almighty and does sit on His thrown. He reigns forever. Like my pastor emphasized today, “just read revelations, We already won the battle”. This does not mean that we should lay down OUR weapons (guns or minds) but be on guard at all times. “See that you are not lead astray. For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am he!’ and, ‘The time is at hand!’ Do not go after them.”-Luke 21:8. Do not be fooled by imitators. Trust God will do what is needed so that He will accomplish His will, not ours.
